Our Story
The Callejo-Botello Foundation was established in 1979 to honor the pioneering spirit and legacy of Adelfa Callejo, the first Latina attorney in Dallas, and her lifelong dedication to justice and education. Our board, composed of passionate community leaders, continues her work by advocating for educational opportunities, legal representation, and civic engagement for the Latino community.

Our Purpose
At the Callejo-Botello Foundation, our purpose is to empower the Latino community through education, advocacy, and legal support. We strive to continue the legacy of Adelfa Callejo by providing scholarships, mentorship, and promoting civic engagement. Our goal is to create opportunities for growth and success, fostering a more inclusive and equitable society for all.
